01. The Catalyst: When “Perfect” Code Meets Reality

Every great transformation starts with a hard lesson. Our initial MVP, ADN+, was technically sound but struggled with adoption.

The Challenge: Digitalizing legacy insurance paperwork for a workforce resistant to change.

 

The Lesson: I realized that in a traditional industry, success isn’t about the code; it’s about the culture. 

The Pivot: Instead of pushing more features, I stepped back to lead a deep-dive research phase to understand the why behind the friction.

02. The Insight: Designing for the “Analytical Mindset”

Internal users aren’t your typical “tech-savvy” Gen Z. They are high-performance financial specialists who live in Excel.

Hardware Constraints: My research revealed advisors were using 13″ laptops with limited vertical space. Desktop Optimization: I engineered a Left-Side Navigation system to maximize horizontal real estate, providing a high-density data environment that felt familiar to power users.

The Result: We moved away from “pretty” minimalism and embraced functional complexity, tailored specifically for analytical minds who prioritize data accuracy over white space.

03. AsesorPro: Scaling the E2E Sales Journey

We evolved ADN+ into AsesorPro, a comprehensive End-to-End ecosystem that unifies the entire Pre-Sales cycle.

Frictionless Workflow: Integrated core APIs to automate personal and financial data retrieval.

Human-Centric Tech: By reducing manual inputs, we enabled advisors to stop “filling forms” and start “having conversations.”

Intelligent Segmentation: The UI dynamically displays relevant product groups while offering integrated simulators to help clients compare scenarios in real-time.

04. Enterprise Governance & Management

As the platform matured, it became a mission-critical tool for leadership.

 

AsesorPro & ServicioPro: Scalability & Institutional Impact – From Sales Tool to Enterprise Platform

Managerial Oversight: I architected a Tracking Dashboard that allows Sales Managers to monitor team performance and conversion metrics in real-time.

Advanced RBAC: Implemented a sophisticated Role-Based Access Control system, ensuring that sensitive data is displayed dynamically based on the user’s hierarchical position.

B2B Power: Added high-volume loading features to handle massive corporate accounts with zero lag.

05. The Spin-off: ServicioPro

The success of our Design System and Rules Engine led to ServicioPro, an in-house Service Management platform (ESM).

 

MetLife ServicioPro: Scaling into Enterprise Service Management (ESM)

Internal ServiceNow: A dedicated system for the CX (Customer Experience) team to track open cases and complex procedures.

SLA Governance: Built-in triggers for “Immediate Attention” cases, ensuring all corporate Service Level Agreements are met with surgical precision.

Product Maturity: Enterprise Management & Ecosystem Expansion

06. 2026 Workflow: The AI-Driven Edge

In the final year of this journey, I revolutionized our internal Product Ops by integrating Generative AI into our design cycle.

 

Firebase Studio exploration for future functionalities for Appointments

Strategic Speed: Used Grok and Copilot to refine complex User Stories and identify edge cases in seconds.

Rapid Prototyping: I leveraged AI to generate functional Bootstrap structures for logic validation before moving to high-fidelity.

Seamless Iteration: Utilizing Figma Make, I transformed AI-generated concepts into components perfectly aligned with the MetLife Design System.

Diego Bogota The "Google Gem" Illustrator

I engineered and optimized a proprietary Google Gem to act as our Lead Illustrator, standardizing the creation of a massive library of branded icons and illustrations.

By fine-tuning its prompt architecture, I gained the creative freedom to instantly visualize complex insurance scenarios while ensuring a unified and consistent visual language across the entire platform, effectively turning our visual production into a high-speed, scalable design factory.

Over three years, we didn’t just build a tool; we built a scalable, AI-powered infrastructure that serves MetLife Chile from field sales to executive management.
